I personally use Inkscape and think it is impressive how such a developed software can be free. One thing I do find is when saving work in PNG format, if the work is very small the PNG file quality is very low. Overall I feel Inkscape will strengthen and compete EVEN more than its commercial rivals I agree with what the author says about Inkscape.
